Today we are going to take a look at the Netflix pricing plans that are out there as of 18th April 2024 so we can look at what each of the three plans cover and see which plan is best for you. Now it’s you’re thinking about getting a Netflix plan then you know all about Netflix. It is one of the largest online streaming platforms covering television shows and Hollywood blockbusters.

So here are the three plans that are available. The two packages on the right called ‘Standard’ and ‘Standard with Adverts’ are exactly the same except one does not have adverts and the other does. Netflix says ‘a few advert breaks’ but a few is very subjective to people so bear this in mind. Both of these packages have a resolution of 1080p which is called Full High Definition. Most new Television sets are Full HD compatible and it’s likely that if you bought one in the last 10 years it is, but always ensure you consult your manual if unsure. Some people like the no advert feature but some people may want to spend less money and save £6 a month for what is a few adverts. Both these packages allow Netflix to be viewed on 2 devices at the same time meaning for example you could be watching your favourite drama downstairs whilst your partner watching a move upstairs.
As technology modernises, companies began recording their programmes in 4K resolution which is 4 times the quality of HD. This means you’ll get a clear and more detailed picture. This package comes with no adverts but also great for families as Netflix can be viewed on up to 4 devices at the same time.
Remember that even if you don’t have a 4K TV, you can still get the ‘Premium’ package if you have a lot of users. Please also bear in mind that Netflix cracks down on password sharing so one Netflix account can only be used in one household.
No matter which package you chose, you can be sure to see lots of content that will keep you entertained for many months to come!
