You can use your Apple Watch to quickly locate your iPhone as long as both are signed in to the same Apple ID and connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Here’s how:
📱 Use the Ping Feature on Apple Watch
- Wake your Apple Watch by raising your wrist or tapping the screen.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to open Control Center.
- Look for the iPhone icon (it looks like a ringing phone).
- Tap it:
- Your iPhone will play a sound, even if it’s on Silent Mode.
- If you press and hold the button, your iPhone will also flash its LED light to help you find it in the dark.
🌍 If it’s not nearby
If your iPhone is not within Bluetooth or Wi-Fi range, you’ll need to use the Find Devices app (on watchOS 10 and later):
- Open the Find Devices app on your Apple Watch.
- Select your iPhone from the list.
- You can see its last known location on a map.
- From there, you can also put it in Lost Mode or get directions to its location.
⚡️ Tip: Make sure Find My iPhone is enabled on your iPhone (Settings → [your name] → Find My → Find My iPhone).
